I've been wanting to move from Word press for awhile, there's nothing wrong with Word press it just doesn't get on too well with my computer. So here I am on Blogger.com.
I'll be moving my knitting patterns across soon and then hopefully have some new ones to add.
I'm knitting a cardigan at the moment. Fingers crossed the pattern is going to work, I only have 2 skeins of the yarn (I think around 800 yards) so its going to be quite tight. But I already love the lace pattern I'm using and its going smoothly.
Unusually for me I'm knitting the back and front separately. Normally even if the pattern is written for them to be separate I'll still join them together and separate at the arm holes. In this case however I feel the lace pattern could benefit from the stability of side seams.
Now all I need to do is find some buttons to match the yarn. And finish knitting the thing of course....
